Harris Environmental
Group, Inc. is a respected natural and cultural resources consulting
firm in Tucson, Arizona seeking a Field Biologist with a
background in botany and desert ecology. This position provides a unique
opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team in one of the most
ecologically diverse areas of the nation. Excellent writing skills are
essential for this position.
This is a part-time, hourly position that can work into a full-time
position based on qualifications and experience. Applications will be

Responsibilities

Conduct fieldwork
including plant and wildlife surveys

Manage field crews
conducting biology surveys

Assist in the
writing biological reports, environmental compliance documents and
permit application documentation
Qualifications
·
B.S. or M.S. degree in
natural resources field
·
3 to 5 years of
consulting experience
·
Strong, and
demonstrated, knowledge of Sonoran Desert ecosystems
·
Demonstrated
experience with professional writing
·
Self-motivated,
enthusiastic, people oriented
