CULTURAL RESOURCES CONSULTING

 

Harris Environmental Group's cultural resource staff is experienced in all phases of the archaeological compliance process. The team has designed and conducted Class I Archival Review Studies, Class II sample surveys, Class III pedestrian surveys, archaeological monitoring, National Register Eligibility Testing, data recovery projects, computerized site mapping projects, and historical research projects. photo of field work

Our team recognizes the unique constraints that archaeological compliance can place on projects, and they are accustomed to providing research-oriented archaeological compliance work in an efficient and timely manner. We are committed to see that all archaeological projects are carried out in accordance with the reporting and documentation standards of the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), Arizona State Museum (ASM), and the U.S. Department of Interior (USDI). We routinely apply the National Register "criteria for eligibility" and have extensive experience with the application of these criteria and with the preparation of management recommendations for governing agencies.
