Harris Environmental Group's cultural resource staff is experienced in
all phases of the archaeological compliance process. The team has
designed and conducted Class I Archival Review Studies, Class II sample
surveys, Class III pedestrian surveys, archaeological monitoring,
National Register Eligibility Testing, data recovery projects,
computerized site mapping projects, and historical research projects.

Our team recognizes the unique constraints that archaeological compliance can place on
projects, and they are accustomed to providing research-oriented
archaeological compliance work in an efficient and timely manner. We are
committed to see that all archaeological projects are carried out in
accordance with the reporting and documentation standards of the Arizona
State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), Arizona State Museum (ASM),
and the U.S. Department of Interior (USDI). We routinely apply the
National Register "criteria for eligibility" and have extensive
experience with the application of these criteria and with the
preparation of management recommendations for governing agencies.
