Harris Environmental Group, Inc. is an award-winning natural resources and cultural resources consulting firm specializing in the American Southwest. Our corporate headquarters is located in Tucson, with a second office in Phoenix. Harris Environmental includes archaeologists, cultural resource management specialists, wildlife biologists, environmental compliance specialists, environmental scientists, plant ecologists, landscape and historic architects, historians, and administrative personnel.

Harris Environmental has a long history of working in Arizona, and our clients benefit from our diversified team of experts. Our turnkey services suit a range of project types that require regulatory compliance at federal, state, or local levels. Harris Environmental has facilitated projects that involve roadway maintenance, development and planning, residential and commercial land development, land use planning and management, industrial development, resource protection, utility construction, and Environmental Protection Agency Superfund Sites.

All of our projects are conducted under theOrgan Pipe Cactus administration of President Lisa K. Harris, Ph.D. A senior staff professional manages each project with the direct support of the company president. The multidisciplinary nature of our firm gives us the capability to assemble project teams composed of staff specialists in the appropriate disciplines that meet specific client and project objectives.

We routinely implement cultural and natural resources studies in support of local, state, tribal, and federal permit applications, and regularly work with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), and other relevant environmental legislation. Our team conducts NEPA compliance and supporting studies, consultation under Section 106, hazardous materials assessments, Section 7 Studies, Section 4(f) Evaluations, Section 404 Permits and Section 401 Certifications, noise and air quality reports, and economic and demographic analyses.
